Bee in the Park!

Primary 1,1/2 and P2 have been learning about bees and the important role they play in making our planet healthy. They decided to make our school grounds an amazing space for pollinators by desiging and making insect friendly gardens. The children got a budget and they went to B and Q to speak to one of their garden centre colleagues and to choose some plants for their gardens. They also carried out a big survey and also learned about how to grow a seed and they sowed wildflower seeds in their gardens.
