Buzzing wildlife

The school is coming into bloom and attracting wildlife.  Classes were out dipping for tadpoles and observed that the tadpoles have grown their rear legs since last week!

It’s been a busy week-Sports Day, Outdoor week for P7, Active Travel week and  Day to day lessons too! It’s been lovely to see so much activity in our outdoor areas.

P5/6 and P6 were hunting tadpoles and caught back swimmers and dragonfly nymphs too and we saw fully grown dark flies along the canal.

The family gardening club has started to see their seedlings grow and there is a huge range of fruit and veg growing now-From broccoli to watermelons!

A busy week but a week to remember!
